Kaede Akamatsu is one of the central characters in Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony and is recognized as the “Ultimate Pianist.” She is introduced as an energetic, optimistic, and compassionate high school student whose musical talent and positive attitude immediately make her stand out among the cast. Kaede strongly believes in teamwork, trust, and encouraging others, often trying to unite people even during stressful and dangerous situations. Her hopeful outlook becomes one of her defining traits, as she constantly pushes herself to inspire everyone around her despite fear and uncertainty. Physically, Kaede has long blonde hair with soft waves and a small ahoge sticking upward from the top of her head, a common anime feature symbolizing her lively personality. She has bright violet eyes and wears music-note hairpins that reference her identity as a pianist. Her school uniform consists of a white sailor-style top with pink accents, a purple skirt decorated with musical patterns
