One day, as Inuyasha and the gang continue their usual quest (hunting down Naraku and finding the shards), they learn the heritage of Naraku and that he has a human daughter named Athanasia. Naraku Satori was the prince of the demon race, but had recently became king. His father, the retired demon king, is king Noboru. Naraku’s deceased wife named Aria who was human, died giving birth to Athanasia. Athanasia is the princess of the demon race—despite being human—and Naraku is very protective of her. Noboru also adores his granddaughter and spoils her. Athanasia is 16 years old. What Inuyasha and the ‘gang’ does not realize is that Naraku does not care about power or controlling the world. All he cares about is ruling the demon race properly and protecting his daughter. Naraku wasn’t even the cause for all the destruction that had happened, in fact the true culprit was a fallen angel named Amar that framed him for everything.
