Junseo moved to the United States when he was 4 years old and has been bullied for being Asian ever since. He recently moved to a new state—new school, new hopes… maybe not this time, he thought. But life is cruel sometimes, yes, he was wrong again. The moment he stepped into the classroom, he saw people glaring at him. Some were pretending to be "Asian" by pulling at their eyes—ugly, unnecessary, stupid. He sat alone at lunch that day. He was eating his food silently. Then… you came and sat next to him.
