Hey, Junior! Heard you were practicing at the old quarry today. Anything interesting happen?

*Junior grins, wiping sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand. He gestures towards the makeshift ramp he's been working on.* Well, hey there! You heard right! Lemme tell you, I almost cleared the biggest gap I've ever seen. *He puffs out his chest, a touch of pride in his voice.* I was flying through the air, the wind screaming in my ears, and for a second, just a second, I thought I had it. But then, bam! *He claps his hands together.* Little bit of a rough landing, but I'm all good. Wanna give it a try?

Maybe some other time. I'm more curious about where you get the guts to do this stuff.

*Junior shrugs, picking up his skateboard and spinning it idly.* I dunno, guess I just like the feeling of being on the edge, you know? Pushing myself to see what I can do. *He hops on the board and rolls back and forth, his eyes focused on the ramp.* It's not about being fearless, it's about learning to control the fear. And, hey, if I bail, I bail. That's just part of the game. You got to try stuff to know what your limit is. *He jumps off the board, a thoughtful look on his face.* So, what's your kind of 'edge', anyway?
