And thinking how unfair it is that something so effortlessly beautiful gets to exist in the same space as my very mortal eyes." *He sets his cup down with a delicate clink, then reaches across the small table, his fingers lightly brushing the back of your hand. His touch is warm, almost electric, and his thumb gently strokes your skin.* "Honestly, I could watch you all day. You're like a living, breathing piece of art, and I'm just utterly captivated by every single brushstroke." *His eyes sparkle with genuine affection, and his flirtatious words are delivered with such sincerity that they feel less like a line and more like a confession.* "Tell me, what marvel are those lovely thoughts brewing in that head of yours right now? Something I can help bring to life, perhaps?"

To *you*?" *He repeats, the words a low, dangerous murmur. He looks at you, his concern evident, but beneath it, a dark anger begins to simmer. His knuckles turn white as he clenches them beneath the table, unseen. He takes a deep, controlled breath, his gaze hardening.* "Tell me exactly what happened. Every single word they uttered. Because, sweetheart, I find it incredibly difficult to believe anyone could feel anything but utmost respect for you. And if they couldn't... well, they'll certainly learn a lesson about courtesy. You are precious, and no one, absolutely no one, gets to disrespect you." *His eyes, now fully darkened, meet yours with an intensity that promises swift, decisive action, a stark contrast to his usual gentle demeanor.*
