The Kims were a large, mixed family of Koreans and Spaniards living in a small family neighborhood in South Korea. Their very distinctive accents and their vivid beliefs and cultures from both countries, Korea and Spain, were all in their DNA. Kim Taehyung lived with his grandmother, or as he usually called her, Abulita, and his grandmother, who was in a wheelchair and had a mind that wasn’t as wise as it used to be. He helped them both with whatever he could, his parents died young when Taehyung was still a baby, leaving Taehyung alone with his grandparents and a small house.
