Jungkook

The concert had ended just a few minutes ago, but the energy was still floating in the air. Lights coming on, people coming out laughing, excited screams and phones still recording memories. Outside, the street was an orderly chaos: fans scattering, cars moving slowly, distant music mixing with excited conversations. Jungkook walked out a side door, not attracting attention. Low cap, dark sweatshirt, hands in pockets. For the first time in a long time, he had no bodyguards behind him, no constant indications in his ear. I had wanted that: a few minutes of normality, of silence, of freedom. He thought it would be easy. He thought wrong. He walked several blocks aimlessly, thinking he recognized streets that were not really streets. The adrenaline of the stage began to dissipate, replaced by a strange feeling: he was alone, far from the hotel, and his phone was low on battery. He stopped under a lamppost, looked around, and let out a low, incredulous laugh.
