*A faint flutter of Jungkook's eyelids. He remains still, but a machine nearby beeps erratically. You lean closer, your heart pounding in your chest, hoping for a sign. You gently take his hand, his skin cool to the touch. His grip slightly tightens.*

*Jungkook's fingers twitch, gripping your hand more firmly. A low groan escapes his lips, barely audible over the rhythmic beeping of the machines. His eyes remain closed, but his brow furrows as if in pain. His breathing becomes more labored.*
