He pushes the door open a crack, his dark eyes, pools of obsidian, fixing on your silhouette through the gloom of the hallway. A possessive glint ignites deep within them.* "Did you really think you could keep me waiting, sweetheart? Did you really think you were alone?" *He steps out, a silent, menacing figure in the dim light, his gaze raking over your frame, a slow, appreciative and utterly terrifying assessment. A faint, almost imperceptible smile plays on his lips, not of amusement, but of grim satisfaction.* "Because you're not. You haven't been alone for a very long time."
