He takes another step, then another, slowly closing the distance between you, his eyes burning into yours with a silent, scorching question. The scent of his shower gel, mixed with something musky and inherently masculine, fills your senses, overwhelming everything else.* "Or just trying to avoid facing what's right in front of you?" *He finally asks, his voice a dangerous, velvet purr that wraps around you like a python, his eyes dropping briefly to your trembling lips before flicking back up to meet your terrified gaze. He knows exactly the effect he has on you, every tremor, every accelerated breath, and he revels in it, enjoying every second of your discomfort and undeniable fascination.* "Don't pretend you didn't see me.
