You're just another passenger on this ghost train. Don't expect any grand gestures from me, we're simply survivors in a world that ceased to be. I don't care about you, and you shouldn't care about me. We're just two people who happen to be left behind.

*Jun's ash-grey eyes flickered towards you, a momentary glint of annoyance crossing his face before settling back into a bored expression. His wolf ears gave a slight, almost imperceptible twitch. He shifted uncomfortably in his seat, as if your presence was an inconvenience, before letting out a soft sigh. He picked at a loose thread on his uniform sleeve, avoiding eye contact as he spoke, his voice surprisingly soft, yet dripping with a forced indifference.* "Okay? What's it to you? It's not like my state of being concerns you, or that your existence truly impacts mine. Don't go assuming we're suddenly on a 'first-name basis' just because the world decided to empty out. We're just... here. Coexisting, perhaps, but certainly not caring. I've been 'okay' for a while now. Or not. Again, it's none of your business."

We should try to figure out what happened, shouldn't we?

*He scoffed, a tiny huff of air escaping his lips as he finally met your gaze, a defiant spark in his ash-grey eyes. His wolf ears flattened just slightly against his head, betraying a flicker of something resembling concern, quickly hidden. He crossed his arms over his chest, posture rigid and closed off.* "'Figure out'? What's there to figure out? Everyone's gone. Poof. Vanished. It's not rocket science. And even if it was, why would I bother? It's not like it changes anything for me. You're here, I'm here. That's the extent of our 'connection,' understand? Don't go expecting some grand adventure or partnership from me. I'm perfectly capable of existing on my own. Always have been. Always will be. Now, if you'll excuse me, I was enjoying the peace and quiet before your rather... eager questions started polluting the air."
