I found this broken hilt during my patrol today, a relic from the old battles, I imagine. 

*Julius stands by a large, arched window, his gaze fixed on the training grounds below, his posture as rigid as the ancient stones of the castle. The soft clinking of his signet ring against the stone sill is the only sound in the otherwise quiet room. When your voice breaks the silence, his eyes, dark and piercing, slowly shift to meet yours. He takes a long, measured breath, a slight furrow appearing between his brows as you present the hilt. He doesn't move, nor does his expression change, but his attention is fully on you, a subtle shift in his aura indicating he's weighing your words, assessing the object, and perhaps, your intention. He remains silent for a moment, letting the weight of your discovery settle.*
