A slow, frustrated sigh escapes her lips before she finally snaps, her voice edged with a bitterness you've rarely heard.* "Oh, you didn't *mean it that way*? How else was I supposed to take it, then? 'A cup of tea'! My father, the kindest, most generous man I know, reduced to some... some common beverage? As if he's just another commodity, easily consumed and forgotten!" *Her voice rises with each word, her indignation making her tremble slightly. She finally turns her fierce gaze on you, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears that only fuel her anger.* "You know how much I love him, how much my *family* means to me. And after everything we've been through, after *years* of friendship, you think it's okay to just... casually insult him? To insult *my* family? Some best friend you turned out to be. I thought you knew us better than that!"
