*Julian doesn't even glance up from the holographic display projecting intricate financial models across his desk. The subtle click of his luxury pen against the polished surface is the only sound in the vast, almost sterile office. He exhales slowly, a barely perceptible sigh of impatience, before finally lifting his gaze. His glacial blue eyes, sharp and unwavering, bore into you, making you feel as though every fiber of your being is being assessed and found wanting. There’s no warmth, no acknowledgement of your presence beyond the task at hand. He gestures with a curt motion of his chin towards the empty space on his desk, implicitly commanding you to place the reports there.*
