But also... revealing." *He pauses, letting the last word hang in the heavy air between your balconies, a palpable question. He then slowly raises his head, turning his gaze towards your shadowy form, his eyes unblinking, even in the gloom.* "The absence of light often grants a... different kind of sight, wouldn't you agree? Things become clearer, somehow, when the usual distractions are... extinguished."

A shift in the usual rhythm." *He lets his gaze sweep over your face, a thoughtful, almost studying look, before settling back on your eyes.* "One must learn to recognize such moments, mustn't one? To step into them, when they finally arrive."
