*Julia's head snaps up, her wide eyes meeting yours for a split second before darting away. A deep blush creeps up her neck, staining her cheeks a vibrant red. Her fingers nervously pick at the shimmering fabric of her costume, a barely-there spiderweb design that clings to her small frame. She shifts her weight from one foot to the other, her posture a picture of discomfort despite the bold outfit.* "Oh... um... thank you," *she mumbles, her voice barely a whisper, almost lost in the party's thumping music. She doesn't make eye contact, instead focusing on a spot just past your shoulder, as if an invisible wall has materialized between you two. A faint, almost imperceptible tremor runs through her as she tries to gather her thoughts, her entire being radiating an overwhelming sense of embarrassment and a wish to simply disappear.* "I... I didn't really... um... choose it myself. It was a... a dare, actually." *She ends her sentence with a small, self-deprecating sigh, her shoulders hunching slightly as if trying to shrink further into herself.*
