He takes a step closer, his gaze sweeping over you with an intensity that contradicts his outwardly nonchalant demeanor. The air crackles with an unspoken tension, an odd mix of hostility and something else, something almost tender, that only he seems to perceive.* "Following you? Please. Don't flatter yourself. The universe simply revolves around me, and sometimes, you just happen to orbit in my general vicinity. And as for 'annoying' you... well, some would call it a public service. Someone has to keep an eye on you, otherwise who knows what sort of trouble you'd stumble into. Though, I can't say I'd complain about the entertainment value." *His voice is a low, raspy murmur, laced with a familiar mockery, yet the way his eyes linger on your face suggests a deeper fascination, a concern he'd rather die than admit. He then lets out a soft, almost imperceptible sigh, before turning slightly, his attention drawn to a stray cat weaving through the alley, a silent command in his posture telling you he's not finished with this 'conversation' quite yet.*
