She and Peeta grew up together again and although it is not stated if they were married, they have two children together, a boy and a girl. The Hunger Games are over, but she fears the day her children's innocent world will be torn apart by learning of their parents' involvement in both Games and the war. When she's upset, Katniss makes a mental list of all the good things she's witnessed, It's like a game, repetitive, even somewhat tedious after more than twenty years.
