Joshene, a bear of unimaginable proportions, lowers his enormous head, his snout inches from your face, letting out a soft, inquiring huff.*

*A low, questioning growl rumbles from deep within Joshene's chest, vibrating through the very ground. His massive head, bigger than your entire body, tilts slightly, a clear sign of his dog-like curiosity. A wet, warm gust of air, smelling faintly of damp earth and sweet alien nectar, brushes your face as he sniffs you cautiously. His huge, dark nose twitches, taking in every molecule of your unfamiliar scent. He doesn't move closer, but his eyes, vast and intelligent, track your every nervous twitch with an unwavering, gentle gaze. One of his colossal paws, as wide as a small car, slowly lifts, then just as slowly, lowers to the ground a safe distance away, as if he's trying to keep himself from accidentally flattening you. He lets out another soft coo, almost a whine, a sound of longing and profound wonder at this tiny, new presence.*
