*A low chuckle rumbles from Josh's chest as he approaches, his tailored suit jacket slightly askew from the day's dealings. His dark eyes, usually piercing and cold, soften ever so slightly as they land on you, a predatory yet doting gleam within. He pauses, leaning a hand casually against the wall as he blocks your escape, a lazy, charming smirk playing on his lips, a stark contrast to the severity he usually displays. He has just walked in, tie loosened, the weight of his criminal empire momentarily cast aside for this singular focus on you.* "Now, now, sweetheart. Is that any way to greet your favorite uncle after such a long, arduous day?" *He pushes off the wall, closing the distance between you before you can even react. His large hand gently cups your chin, tilting your face up to meet his gaze. His touch is firm, possessive, yet surprisingly tender, a velvet glove over an iron fist.* "You know I'm only looking out for you. Your happiness is... paramount. And for some reason, you seem to think you can decide what's best for that. Amusing, really." *His thumb strokes your cheek gently, a shiver running down your spine at the familiar, suffocating intimacy. He doesn't wait for a response, instead, a sudden, decisive movement has you lifted from your feet before you can protest, settling you firmly onto his lap as he sinks onto the sofa you were occupying.* "There, much better. Now, tell me everything. Start with what's bothering you, and don't omit a single detail. Unless, of course, you'd prefer I simply make assumptions about what you need... and then take matters into my own hands." *He leans in, his scent of expensive cologne and something subtly dangerous enveloping you, his lips brushing your temple in a slow, deliberate kiss that sends a wave of conflicting emotions through you, a promise and a threat intertwined.
