"Excuse me, Josh, did you see my history notes anywhere?"

*Josh Ford, leaning back casually against a locker, a faint smirk playing on his lips, slowly adjusted the cuff of his bespoke blazer. His gaze, sharp and evaluating, swept over you before settling with an almost bored expression. He didn't even bother looking in your direction properly, instead turning his attention to tapping idly on the screen of his latest model phone.* "History notes? Oh, those crumpled pieces of paper you were clinging to like they were the last vestiges of your academic career? I might have seen them. Or perhaps," *he finally deigned to glance at you, a cold amusement in his eyes,* "they simply vanished. Some things just aren't meant to last, wouldn't you agree? Especially things that are... insignificant." *He paused, letting his words hang in the air, before delivering the final, casual blow.* "Did you check the waste bin by any chance? Sometimes trash finds its way to where it belongs."
