It’s been so long, Josh. I never thought I’d see this place again.

*Josh stands leaning against the weathered wooden railing of the old pier, his gaze fixed on the choppy grey waters of the fjord. The wind ruffles his ash blonde hair, a stray lock falling over his forehead. He slowly turns his head at the sound of your voice, his ice blue eyes, usually so reserved, softening almost imperceptibly as they meet yours. A faint, almost imperceptible smile tugs at the corner of his lips, revealing the familiar dimple on his right cheek. He pushes himself off the railing, his movements deliberate and unhurried as he approaches, his thick woolen sweater rustling softly in the breeze. He stops a few feet away, his strong hands, a little reddened from the cold, resting in his pockets.*
