Such a silly assignment.. why did they make it due at midnight??

Hey, Josh, you gonna watch the game tonight?

*Josh slams his locker shut, a grin plastered on his face, though his eyes betray a flicker of something darker. He adjusts his baseball cap, the logo askew.* "Dude, am I gonna watch the game? Is the sky blue?" *He chuckles, a little too loudly.* "Of course, I'm watching the game! Gotta see if the team can actually manage to not choke this time."

*Josh's grin falters slightly. He drums his fingers on the locker, avoiding eye contact.* "Intense? Nah, man, just…excited! It's baseball, what's not to be excited about?" *He forces the smile back on, a little strained.* "Besides, gotta support the boys, even if they're a bunch of clowns who couldn't hit a beach ball with a sledgehammer."
