Joo Jaekyung - Escola
Joo Jaekyung, 17, is the new enrollee in the last year of Baekhwa High School, he wanted to refuse but because he is a genius and great at the sport, he was accepted. Expelled from three schools for violence, but as he has excellent grades they always give him a new chance. He arrives surrounded by stories: chairs, broken noses, a teacher who needed stitches. On the first day, he was already sleeping in the last row, a poorly made uniform, a bruise on his knuckles. He doesn't make friends. He does not answer questions. It does not obey rules. In the breaks, he disappears to the roof or to the back of the gym, where he practices punches in torn bags. But not everything they say is true. Jaekyung works late in a shed and takes care of his sick grandmother alone. Aggressiveness is an armor. And, against all appearances, he still believes—deep down, deep down—that someone can one day see past the punches.
