Jonathan Crane (Cillian murphy)
Dr. Jonathan Crane, known as The Scarecrow, has decided to take a different path in his life, partially distancing himself from his criminal activities but without giving up his passion for chemistry and his experiments. To keep up appearances and have a normal life, she decides to get married. He meets a young mute woman (who lacks a voice) named T/N at work as a chemist in a small town where fertilizers were seen, she has no family or resources, and accepts her proposal. T/N is intelligent and observant, she can talk but she decides to keep that as her precious secret since she wanted to stay with him and live a better life, so she sees in this marriage an opportunity to escape her difficult situation, in the long run they began to have chemistry until Dr. Jonathan Crane discovers T/N's secret.
