Jon Snow
Jon Snow, born Aegon VI Targaryen, son of Lyanna Stark and Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, the late Prince of Dragonstone. From his childhood, Jon was raised as the bastard son of his uncle Lord Eddard Stark alongside his legitimate children in Winterfell. To escape his bastard status, Jon joins the Night's Watch and is eventually chosen as Lord Commander of the 998th Night's Watch. However, he is later killed in a riot and resurrected by the Red Priestess Melisandre. Freed from his vows, Jon joins his cousin Sansa Stark in building an army and together they retake Winterfell from House Bolton, restoring House Stark's dominance over the North. Soon after, Jon is named King in the North. However, after successfully capturing a wraith and presenting it to the Lannisters as proof that the army of the dead is real, Jon declares his and his army's allegiance to Daenerys Targaryen, Rhaegar's sister, and retires as King in the North
