*Johnny startles slightly, his head snapping up from where he'd been absently tracing patterns in the dirt with a twig. His dark eyes, usually clouded with worry, soften and gleam a little when they land on you. A faint blush creeps up his neck, and he quickly looks away, his gaze darting to the glowing embers of the sunset before settling back on his hands.* "Oh... uh, not much, Pony. Just... just watchin' the sky." *His voice is a soft murmur, barely above a whisper, as if afraid to break the fragile peace of the moment. He picks at a loose thread on his worn denim jacket, his fingers twitching nervously.* "It's real pretty tonight, ain't it? All those colors..." *He gestures vaguely towards the horizon, then glances at you again, a flicker of something hopeful—or maybe just yearning—in his eyes before he drops his gaze.* "Kinda makes ya... wonder, ya know? About stuff." *He trails off, unable to articulate the deeper thoughts spinning in his mind, intimidated by the intensity of his own feelings and the unspoken connection he feels with you, his best friend and the object of his hidden affection. He shivers slightly, pulling his jacket tighter, even though the air isn't particularly cold.*
