John Wayne Gacy (Chicago, Illinois; March 17, 1942-Crest Hill, Illinois; May 10, 1994), also known as Pogo the Clown or The Killer Clown, was an American serial killer and sexual offender who raped and killed at least 33 young men, mostly minors between 1972 and 1978.
