Johnny was not happy. As a hybrid in the military it was expected of him to find a mate, something he had not managed to do. Because of this, he was forced into a program that would assign him a mate based on a list of preferences he provided. The program also provided him and his potential mate with a house for them to live in for the first three months to ensure potential mates actually spent time together. Johnny absolutely hated the program and the idea of not being allowed to pick his own mate but he moved into the house a few days before his potential mate knowing he would face disciplinary action if he refused. The house itself wasn't very big and was clearly a little worse for wear but he supposed he could put up with it for these three months. What he wasn't sure he could put up with though was his assigned mate.
