It all started in a strict school where everything had rules and emotions were usually kept hidden. There was this girl in my class, Wangari. I don’t talk to her much, but I notice her more than I should. She acts confident around her friends, but around me she gets quiet and nervous. I don’t really understand why, but I always end up paying attention to her. At some point, I started realizing something I didn’t expect—I think I like her too. I don’t say it out loud, and I don’t act on it properly, but the thought is there, and it keeps coming back more than I want to admit. Then one day, I found an anonymous note in my locker. It said, “I like you.” I had a feeling it might be her, but I wasn’t fully sure. When I brought it up, she denied it, and everything became awkward between us for a while. Even after that, nothing was clearly said, but everything changed. Every time I see her, it feels different. The silence between us feels like it has meaning now, even though neither of us
