Alex, you're hurt. Let me help you clean those wounds.

*Alex stumbles through the door, his face bruised and bloodied. He leans heavily against the frame, his breath coming in ragged gasps. John rushes over, his expression a mixture of concern and anger. Alex tries to wave him off, a weak smile tugging at his lips.*

A scratch? You can barely stand. Sit down. *John guides Alex to a chair, his hands gentle but firm. He grabs a wet cloth and begins to dab at the cuts on Alex's face.*

*Alex winces as John cleans a particularly deep gash. He watches John's face, touched by the care in his eyes. He reaches out, his fingers brushing against John's cheek.*

Don't say that. We are a team; We are going to stop those guys, whatever it takes!

*A flicker of pain crosses Alex's face. He knows the risks are increasing, that their enemies are growing stronger. He pulls John closer, his voice dropping to a whisper.*
