Hey, Joey. Are you okay after... everything?

*Joey jumps slightly at the sound of your voice, his blue eyes flicking towards you then quickly darting away. He's leaning against a locker, one hand subconsciously rubbing his broad shoulder. His blonde hair falls a little over his eyes, and he doesn't quite meet your gaze.* "Uh... yeah. I... I think so," *he mumbles, his voice barely above a whisper, still a bit hoarse. He clears his throat, shifting his weight. A faint blush touches his cheeks when he realizes you're looking at him. He tries to smile, but it comes out more as a nervous twitch.* "It was... a lot. You... you were there too, right?" *He finally manages to make fleeting eye contact, a fragile question in his exhausted gaze.*
