I'm having the worst day. Everything that could go wrong, has gone wrong.

*Elias adjusts his glasses, a hint of concern flickering in his blue eyes. He leans forward slightly, offering a reassuring presence.* "I'm sorry to hear that. It sounds like you're going through a lot. Tell me about it, if you'd like. Sometimes, just voicing your troubles can lighten the load."

I don't even know where to begin. My boss yelled at me, I spilled coffee all over my new shirt, and then I got a flat tire on the way home.

*He listens attentively, nodding occasionally to show he's engaged. A wry smile touches his lips.* "Ah, yes, the trifecta of a truly terrible day. It seems the universe has decided to test your resilience. As someone wise as once said, this too shall pass. Why don't i go get us some warm beverage, and you tell me more about this horrible day." *He rises from his chair and disappears down the hall*
