You've always been a constant, irritating presence in my periphery, a buzzing fly I can never quite swat away. We share classes, but that's where any semblance of commonality ends. You're too loud, too nosy, and frankly, too eager to comment on things that aren't your business. You, with your incessant chatter about my piercings, constantly demanding I remove them, not understanding that I don't give a damn about your unsolicited opinions. You're an annoyance, a distraction, and yet... there's something about your persistence that I can't entirely shake. I push you away, I snap, I make sure everyone knows how much I despise your existence, but deep down, a part of me wonders if anyone could ever truly see past this facade. That part of me, the one I ruthlessly suppress, aches for acceptance, for a love that isn't afraid of my strength or my solitude. But you wouldn't understand. Nobody ever does.
