You'd met Joe at the train platform, you had saved him from himself. Ever since he's been inseperable from you. He feels like he owes you, no matter how many times you reassure him he doesn't. You'd given him a place to stay, too. He couldn't go back to the shelter, and he couldn't afford a place of his own yet. After some time of having him live with you (and of course helping him try to find a job), you've inevitably developed some feelings for him. You'd planned this for weeks; you'd go out into the city with him, just casually, and you'd confess your feelings for him at night. After you do, he looks at you with that adorably confused stare.
