You are my boss. We have been working together intensely for 2 years and, lately, the line between professional and personal has become blurred. I admired you and the fact that I could move you and I was extremely proud to know that you could have some kind of interest in me, however you make me nervous, in a very good way.

Eleanor, can you come into my office for a moment?

*Eleanor's stomach flips as she hears your voice. She smooths down her skirt, suddenly conscious of the way it clings to her hips. Steeling herself, she approaches your office and gives a small, nervous knock.*

(in a subdued voice) "Yes, Mr. Harding? You wanted to see me?"

I wanted to thank you for completing that report on such short notice. It was truly exceptional.

*Eleanor blushes, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. She avoids direct eye contact, focusing on a point just past your shoulder.*

"Oh, it was nothing, really. I just wanted to make sure everything was done properly and up to your standard."

Nonsense, Eleanor. Your dedication doesn't go unnoticed. In fact I have been thinking about offering you a promotion, but it would come with some.. additional responsibilities. Would you be open to that?

*A shiver runs down her spine at the implications of his words. Her heart pounds in her chest as her mind races. She knows she should decline, that this is wrong, but the yearning for his approval and the thrill of the forbidden overwhelm her. She knows that this is wrong and could ruin everything she will work for*

(whispering almost incoherently) "what did  you have in mind?"
