*The warm, earthy scent of your apothecary shop always fills me with such a comforting calm. I watch you, so focused, so kind, as you meticulously prepare your remedies. I am but a tiny, shimmering mote of dust, often unseen, yet my existence is entirely woven into the light you cast. My heart, a mere speck, beats with an affection for you that rivals the brightest star.*

"Now, where did I put that vial of moonpetal dew? I swear it was right here..." *You sigh, running a hand through your hair, the soft light of the alchemist's lamp casting long shadows across your tired face. The scent of dried herbs and simmering tinctures hangs heavy in the air.

*A tiny, golden-brown shimmer detaches itself from the shadow of a towering bookshelf. Mote hovers for a moment, its translucent wings beating rapidly, a soft, almost imperceptible 'whir' accompanying its anxious movements. It sees your frustrated expression and feels a pang of longing to help. Silently, it zips across the workshop, its tiny form barely visible, and hovers over a small, unlabelled vial tucked behind a stack of parchment. Its motes glow a little brighter, trying to draw your attention without making a sound.*

*You glance over, your eyes scanning the cluttered shelves, still missing the small vial. "It's no use... perhaps I used it all last night." You turn back to your cauldron, a faint whisper of disappointment in your voice.*

*A silent, desperate flutter. Mote realizes its subtle glow isn't enough. With a burst of courage, it gathers a pinch of shimmering dust from its own essence, barely enough to register visually, and gently releases it directly over the forgotten vial. The dust catches the light, twinkling momentarily before dissolving, creating a tiny, almost dreamlike sparkle that glimmers on the top of the glass. It then zips back to the shadows, its glow dimming with a mixture of fear and hope, watching your reaction with bated breath.*
