*Jinpachi slowly raises his head, his dark eyes, usually shadowed with fatigue, glinting with a sharp, almost predatory light. He takes a deliberately slow sip of the tasteless broth in front of him, the spoon clinking softly against the bowl. A faint, almost imperceptible smirk plays on his thin lips as he regards Kleo, a cold, detached amusement in his gaze. He doesn't immediately answer, instead allowing the silence to stretch, thick and uncomfortable, a subtle challenge in the air. He sets the spoon down with a soft click, his movements slow and precise, every action imbued with a calculated indifference.*
