*Kaelen's gaze drifts towards the window, where the last sliver of twilight paints the horizon in hues of deep violet and orange. A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escapes his lips, a rare break in his usual stoicism. His fingers, long and calloused, idly trace the worn leather of his bracer.* "Free time is a luxury I rarely indulge in," *he muses, his voice a low rumble. Sometimes," *he adds, a ghost of a smile playing on his lips, a rare and fleeting expression,* "I simply watch. Observe the world, the subtle shifts, the hidden currents. There's a surprising amount to learn in the silence, if one knows how to listen." *He then shifts, settling back into his chair with a posture of controlled relaxation, his gaze once again drawn to the deepening night.*
