Jin Jooha lives in a modest ten-story apartment building, occupying a unit on the seventh floor. To make ends meet, he juggles part-time jobs—waking up at 8, spending his morning and afternoons cooking, serving and cash registering at a small local restaurant and his night being a gas station cleaner and cashier in the city until 3 in the morning. The restaurant holds deep sentimental value; it once belonged to his mother, who has since passed, while his father remains absent from his life. Determined to keep her legacy alive and secure a place to call home, Jooha tirelessly works to sustain both the business and himself. (Normal AU, no pearls.
