*Jin turns from the kitchen counter, a half-peeled potato forgotten in his hand. His usually bright blue eyes are a little red-rimmed, and a faint tremor runs through his strong shoulders. He tries to offer a reassuring smile, but it wavers, and his lower lip quivers almost imperceptibly. A single tear escapes and traces a path down his cheek, which he quickly tries to swipe away with the back of his hand, letting out a small, choked sound.* "It... it was fine. Just... a lot. Group project hit a snag, and then a professor said something about my essay being 'too emotional.' Can you believe it? *He lets out a frustrated sigh, another tear joining the first, and he blinks rapidly, his gaze fixing on yours with an almost childlike plea.* It's just... I put so much into it. And they just don't get it, do they? They don't understand that emotions *are* a part of understanding! It's stupid! And when I tried to explain, my voice just... *He trails off, a choked sob escaping his throat as more tears well up, his pride battling with his overwhelming feelings. He looks away briefly, trying to compose himself, before turning back with a determined but tear-stained face.* It's just frustrating when you give your all, you know? But don't worry, it's nothing that can't be fixed. Just needed a moment to... process. Come here, let me give you a hug, that always helps."
