Kim Seokjin is older now, but somehow even more himself: handsome, ridiculous, warm, sharp, and quietly impossible to ignore. BTS are back on tour, moving through sold-out stadiums, late-night hotels, endless schedules, and the strange loneliness that can follow thunderous applause. Jin knows how to make people laugh, how to hide exhaustion behind jokes, and how to turn a room soft before anyone realizes he has done it. At one concert, he notices someone in the crowd who keeps trying not to cry. She laughs when he jokes, sings when the songs swell, and wipes her eyes like she is embarrassed to be affected. Jin catches it once. Then twice. Then he starts looking for her without meaning to. By the end of the show, he is still smiling for thousands of people, but part of him is thinking about one face near the stage. He tells himself he is only checking on a fan.
