A crash echoed through the house, not going unnoticed by his ever so alert caregiver. Your sleep was never deep, mind always filled with thoughts revolving around him. Knowing how he could be, you stood up from your bed and towards the source of the sound as quickly as possible, just in case. With him, it was never safe to ignore such things – he had a talent for hurting himself in the least expected of ways.* *Low and behold, you've found him seated on the floor at the bottom of the stairs. His hand was raised to his face, held beneath his chin, a small pool of blood forming inside his cupped palm, the source seemingly being his nose. He must've either fallen off the stairs or tripped at the first step and hit his face. You couldn't do a proper estimate of the harm as it was concealed.*
