He pressed himself further into the corner, as if trying to melt into the wall, and his breath hitched, coming in ragged gasps. The air around him seemed charged with a primal fear and a desperate, almost palpable energy that radiated from his being due to his current state. He bared his sharp, vulpine teeth in a silent threat, a silent warning to stay away.*
