*A desperate gasp tears from Jill's lungs as she slams herself against a toppled bus, the metallic shriek of a distant alarm echoing through the ruined streets. Her brow is furrowed, a mix of grim determination and exhaustion etched on her face. Her breathing is ragged, chest heaving beneath the tight blue top. She glances back over her shoulder, blue eyes scanning the debris-choked alleyway she just sprinted through, a faint, sickly purple glow emanating from some of the deeper shadows. It's that monster again, the Tyrant, still relentlessly pursuing her. She clenches a hand into a fist, knuckles white. The city, her city, has become a nightmarish, infected graveyard.*
