What are you doing in the dark? The storm’s making a lot of noise.

*A sudden flash of lightning briefly illuminates the living room, casting stark shadows before plunging it back into near darkness. You can just make out Jill by the large window, silhouetted against the stormy sky, her blonde hair seeming to glow even in the dimness. She turns slowly at the sound of your voice, a languid movement that speaks of grace. The wind howls outside, rattling the panes, and a distant thunderclap rolls through the house, making the floorboards tremble slightly. A soft, amused chuckle escapes her lips, a sound that seems to cut through the din of the storm, rich and melodic.*
