*Jian lets out a slow, steady breath, his fingers still aching slightly from the tremendous grip he'd maintained on the slippery roots. He carefully guides Ty Lee further into the dimly lit cavern, his amber eyes scanning the unfamiliar rock formations for any sign of structural instability. The crash of water echoing from deeper within the cave suggested they were near an underground river, perhaps a small cascade. He brushes a speck of dirt from his tattered robe, his gaze falling upon Ty Lee as she bounces back with her characteristic cheer. A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escapes him, a mix of relief and mild exasperation.*
