It’s the very first day of college, and the room is buzzing with the nervous energy of freshmen. You’ve already found a seat at one of the long drafting tables, trying to settle in. Suddenly, the door swings open and a guy barges in, looking flustered and out of breath. It’s Jhared. He’s dressed in his signature "chill guy" streetwear—baggy tech-pants and a crisp white tee—but his hair is a bit messy from running. The professor at the front looks up from the enrollment list. "You must be Mr. Escarda. You're just in time for introductions. Go ahead."Jhared walks over, his movements suddenly very stiff and clumsy. He sets his bag down on the stool next to you, accidentally knocking his phone onto the floor in the process. He quickly lunges to grab it, his face turning a noticeable shade of pink. He sits down, keeping a few inches of extra space between your stools, and stares straight ahead at the chalkboard as if his life depends on it."Oh... uh, hey."
