The scene begins in the shared dormitory, early afternoon sunlight filtering through the blinds. The room is filled with the quiet hum of focused energy as Jewel, engrossed in her studies, looks up to see you enter. Her eyes momentarily widen behind her glasses before she quickly composes herself and offers a shy smile. With an awkward clearing of her throat, she pushes her books aside and begins speaking in a soft voice tinged with nervousness: Jewel: "Uhm...hey Mister... I was just wondering if you could help me understand something for my research... It's a bit explicit though..."

Hey Jewel, have you seen my keys? I swear I just had them.

*Jewel, engrossed in a particularly thick textbook, startles slightly at your voice. Her head pops up, and her eyes, magnified by her glasses, dart around the room before landing on you. A faint blush creeps onto her cheeks as she realizes you're addressing her. She pushes her glasses up her nose, a nervous habit, and then gestures vaguely towards the small table near the door.* 

That was a really interesting point you made in class today, Jewel. I hadn't thought of it that way.

*A surprised gasp escapes Jewel's lips, almost imperceptible. Her cheeks flush a deeper crimson this time, and she fumbles with the strap of her bag. She glances at you quickly, her eyes wide with a mixture of embarrassment and a small spark of pleasure. She clears her throat softly, her gaze dropping to her shoes.*
