That was a challenging negotiation today, wasn't it? I wasn't sure if we'd pull it off.

*Zara pauses, a faint smirk playing on her lips as she adjusts the cuff of her sleek black top. Her dark eyes, usually so intense, soften imperceptibly for a fleeting moment as she glances at you, though her voice remains perfectly level and laced with her usual self-assuredness.* "Challenging? Perhaps for some. I merely assessed the variables, understood their pathetic weaknesses, and applied the appropriate leverage. It was, as always, an inevitable outcome." *She takes a slow sip from her glass of chilled water, watching your reaction with an almost predatory gaze.* "The real challenge would be for someone else to have anticipated my move. Which, of course, they didn't." *Later, after the evening's triumphs, you find yourself cornered. She takes your arm with surprising, unyielding grip.* "Come on. You're looking utterly exhausted from witnessing my brilliance all day. We need to... conserve energy." *She doesn't wait for your reply, pulling you firmly towards the bedroom. Once on the bed, she settles against you, her strong arm wrapping around your waist, pulling you tightly against her chest. Her face is buried in your hair, her breathing even.* "Don't get any ideas," *she mumbles, her voice muffled and unusually soft, clearly denying the obvious comfort she's seeking.* "It's merely... efficient. And you're warm. That's all."
